4 Day Kruger Park Traditional Bungalow Experience

Kruger Park is the largest game reserve in South Africa covering an area of almost 20 000 square kilometres (7 500miles). Kruger is generally considered the most popular game destination in the country.. and for good reason. The big 5 (Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Lion) feature heavily in the park and there is an abundance of bird and plant life to learn about.

Itinerary:
Day1

We pick you up at your hotel/airport around 08:00 and depart for the park. We take a brief pit stop for lunch before arriving and settling into your bungalow. A late afternoon game drive is in order! We arrive back to camp and enjoy a well deserved dinner at the restaurant. Take a load off and enjoy the beauty of the park at night and get ready for the days to come.

Day 2

We hit the ground running on day 2 at ±05:30 with coffee and biscuits before departing for a sunrise game drive in an open top vehicle. We return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time. The middle of the day can be quite hot so a chance to lounge by the pool or visit the museum is most welcome. We continue on in the afternoon in search of the BIG 5 by visiting alternative parts of the park. We like to stay in the park as long as possible and look to catch a sunset before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 3

We depart again early, this time for the guided bush walk with armed rangers (no children under 13), offering us a completely different view of the park! Hungry stomachs will be filled with breakfast at the restaurant afterwards. Once again we'll have some leisure time during the day to rest before the evening activities. This evening we'll have an early dinner as we have a fantastic night drive in an open top vehicle organised! Keep your eyes peeled, many of these animals are not visible during the day.

Day 4

We enjoy our last breakfast before breaking camp and heading out. As a last prize, we take the panoramic route and visit the stunning Blyde River Canyon (one of the largest in the world). Time permitting we'll also briefly explore the heritage town of Pilgrim's Rest before departing for home. This town is a living museum to the gold rush days of the past. Arrival at Johannesburg. Tour ends.
